Up 10-0 at this point and still selling out completely for the catch. Yeah, this is the Brew Crew’s year.

Sal is always giving 100%. He is so fun to watch

110% and he would tell you to “Go Fuck Yourself” for implying he gave anything less than 110%

He is from Massachusetts. I think he would.

Lexington, MA. Good kid. He's a year older than my oldest son.

Did you go to the ceremony renaming the road? I was there!

No, I was out of town traveling on business.

This was a crazy catch. We're they playing in Milwaukee or Tampa? Rays fans were quite AF

playing in tampa, there were more Brewers fans than Rays

I dont think ive ever heard an away crowd drown out the home teams in a world series game as much as this. I knew they were at the trop, but didnt seem like it

The get-in price for this year’s series on the secondary market is ~$2,700 in Milwaukee compared to $7-800 in Tampa. For a Brewers fan in Milwaukee, plane + hotel + game ticket is literally cheaper in some cases than a home ticket would be.
This story says as much about the relative dedication of Brewers & Rays fans as it does about the dystopian hellscape that is modern event ticketing.

The cheers when Wood got a strikeout in the 9th were LOUD

SRO ticket for home Series game in Milwaukee, lowest I saw was $2500. Watch party tickets in Milwaukee tonight that sold for $15, proceeds going to charity, are reselling over $600.

So happy for Sal even though I’m rooting for the Rays. We renamed a street for him in Lexington MA during the WS and his parents will get the sign at the end.

That's awesome! We need a permanent street named after him in Milwaukee!
