The Mets won something!

3 Diamondbacks. Must be fun to watch their defense

4. u/minuteye · 2026-11-02 14:38 UTC

A lot more fun than watching their offense...

Gabby Moreno also won the batting title and Corbin Carrol is constantly hitting triples. Domo has frogs blood, man out some respect on these guys names.

Dude, it's not disrespectful for me to acknowledge that watching D-backs offense this year has involved a hell of a lot more frustration than "fun".

It's a statement about the whole team, not a knock on any particular player. Most of them seem pretty unhappy with their batting, too.

I have no idea what "frog's blood" means, though. Can you explain that one please?

And Hoerner even though he played a bunch at SS

L.m.a.o.

12. u/nnamrc · 2026-11-02 03:04 UTC

Oop maybe I should be eating my words after looking at the OOA and Runs prevented. However, he did still play a lot at SS for Dansby and it may have made it closer. (Plus better highlights, heh)

Listen, I think Hoerner is a great player and plays great defense. Brice just had a great year.

As a fellow cubbie, I had the same realization haha.

Fuck it, give the entire Cubs team the award...

one in each division of the field (battery, IF, OF)

What’s insane is the Cubs outfield was nominated and the Brewers beat them routinely because of errors. Including the infamous PCA sun ball..

19. u/YoutubeAmazonChatGPT · 2026-11-02 16:24 UTC

Don't forget the infamous under-the-glove-little-league-home-run.

Two inside the park home runs in one season and he gets the gold glove?

Tom Brady once thew a pick at a game I attended, he sucks.

PCA defense stats are amazing. Fielding Bible defense player of the year. Only player is Statcast era to catch >50% of 5 star catches, he caught 71%. He had 14 OAA, more than any other outfielder. The list goes on.

Not saying there isn't tough competition but picking a few plays vs his whole season...
