Since this got taken down on r/baseball, you know the drill.

Yup. I'm bringing Different Teams back for this one. With the World Series starting tonight, it seems appropriate to ask this. Good luck to the Rays and Brewers.

The World Series is the Mecca of professional baseball, for obvious reasons. You got the two best teams in each league duking it out for a chance at history. And with that, we've seen countless incredible moments take place through its history, some we might even consider as favorites of ours. And I'm willing to bet you have a favorite that wasn't from your team, or doesn't involve your team, at all. So, what's yours, and why?

For example, you'll see mine in the video attached. It's David Freese tying Game 6 in 2011, down by two, and down to the last strike. It's a classic moment of clutch hitting, and I'd argue that it's the clutchest play in Major League history. One swing and a miss, one weakly hit grounder, hell even if Cruz reached his hands higher, it's over. But Freese decided that it wouldn't be, with just one swing.

Fuck you for this. But I get it.

Yeah. Objectively this was a great moment for a home team, but it still hurts every time I watch that ball sail over Cruz's head.

From right around this exact time in 2011.

I'm glad he got his ring with the Braves 10 years later, though. He seems like an awesome dude, coke habit aside.

We fucking loved Wash. Braves nation, shall we snort a line to celebrate him?

I blame the guy that played that ball like a Little Leaguer.

Sorry for that. But at least the demons can't hurt you, anymore.

I'm sorry your team had to lose but because of this game I was able to go to game 7 and watch the Cardinals win on my best friends birthday who had died a few months earlier with his widow and another friend and we May have spread some of his ashes at the stadium

I feel for the fans and I feel for Beltre. You could see his frustration as he received the ball from the outfield. He should have retired a champion.

Anything from game 7 in 2016. That game was bonkers all the way through.

I went through so much emotions that night, from the highest of highs to lowest of lows.

This was fun as hell to watch even as a White Sox fan!
